When disussing his art, Veilhan frequently utters the phrase ‘what interests me’. Seemingly, everything interests him: astrophysics, architecture, music, fashion, mechanics, art history, history itself, all the way back to the Big Bang. His bookshelf boasts a range of titles from Donald Judd and Renzo Piano to a work about camouflage. At night he goes home to a pile of books, puts his iPod on shuffle (from Debussy to Wu-Tang Clan), and draws and writes his ideas in a little black sketchbook.
